Okay, so maybe Bec doesn't exactly charm the giant children's python in her lounge room, but there's something strangely magical about the way she manages her menagerie. No one quite knows how she so deftly wrangles the household of rabbits, guinea pigs, parrots, lizards, turtles, frogs, dogs, cats, snakes – oh and the five boys (six if you count Craig).

Yes, Bec and Craig met at vet school. Yes, they work ridiculously well together. Yes, they really do have five boys.

The obligatory vet stuff

Bec graduated from University of Queensland in 2002 (with the university medal). She worked in small animal practice in Melbourne before opening the Port Phillip Animal Hospital with Craig in 2006.

Bec also runs the veterinary side of the Greyhound Adoption Program (GAP) in Seymour. And rather oddly, given her love of greyhounds, Bec is also our resident expert on small furry (often prey) animals, with the guinea pig a firm favourite.

Bec is currently busy with the Greyhounds and isn't consulting at Elwood.
